Description
So, I know I said Selk was my alter ego, but her design has yet taken another drastic jump. And I think this time it's a keeper. No more changing. Officially.
This is Sharatar.
The red things on her head are like that of porcupine spines, only feathered. When excited or angry, they flare out dangerously. Or, they may lay completely at rest against her back.
There are many sketches of her, and I decided to take just one and get a half-way decent ref on here before finishing all my other work. Not normally a digital gal, but I need the practice.

Practicing digital work is good. Whether or not you're a digital artist, most people sketch on whatever paper happens to be lying around, and it's a very flexible medium. It does tend to take a lot longer, though. I will say that this one isn't quite as detailed as your traditional works, but that doesn't mean it looks bad at all. If you've a break or long weekend or something coming up, I suggest using a day or two just to work on your digital stuff.
